About Crochet Bouquets
What is a crochet bouquet?
A crochet bouquet is a handmade flower arrangement crafted entirely from yarn using the crochet technique — known as kroshiya (کروشیا) in Urdu. Each petal, leaf, and stem is hand-stitched individually, creating lifelike flowers that never wilt, never fade, and last forever.
Unlike fresh flowers that die within days, a crochet bouquet is a permanent keepsake — making it a deeply meaningful gift for birthdays, weddings, graduations, Eid, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and home décor.
How long do crochet flowers last?
Crochet flowers last forever with basic care. Since they are made from high-quality cotton yarn, they do not wilt, dry out, or lose petals like fresh flowers. With simple maintenance — keeping them away from prolonged direct sunlight and dusting occasionally — your Teddy Bow crochet bouquet will look vibrant and beautiful for years and even decades.
Many customers display their crochet bouquets as permanent home décor pieces and lifelong keepsakes from special occasions like weddings and graduations.
Are crochet bouquets safe for people with allergies?
Yes — crochet bouquets are 100% hypoallergenic and completely safe for people with pollen allergies, hay fever, or respiratory sensitivities. Since they are made from yarn and not real flowers, they produce zero pollen, have no fragrance triggers, and are safe for children, elderly family members, and pets.
This makes crochet bouquets an ideal gift for hospital visits, nursing homes, and anyone who loves flowers but cannot tolerate them due to allergies.
Are crochet flowers better than real flowers?
Both have their charm, but crochet flowers offer several distinct advantages over fresh flowers:
Longevity: They last forever instead of wilting in 3-7 days. Allergy-free: Zero pollen, safe for everyone. Unlimited colors: They can be made in any color — including colors that don’t exist in nature. Zero maintenance: No water, no trimming, no refrigeration needed. Eco-friendly: No pesticides, no refrigerated transport, no waste. Sentimental value: Each one is handmade and becomes a permanent keepsake.
Fresh flowers have natural fragrance and a traditional appeal, but for a lasting, meaningful gift — crochet bouquets are the superior choice.
What is the difference between crochet flowers and artificial plastic flowers?
The difference is significant. Crochet flowers are handmade from soft cotton yarn, with each petal individually stitched by hand — making every piece unique. Plastic flowers are mass-produced in factories from synthetic materials.
Crochet flowers have a warm, tactile texture that people love to touch, while plastic flowers often look and feel cheap. Crochet bouquets carry deep emotional and sentimental value as handcrafted art, while plastic flowers have no such worth. Additionally, yarn flowers are significantly more eco-friendly than petroleum-based plastic alternatives.
What does “Teddy Bow” mean?
Teddy Bow (کروشیا) is the Urdu word for crochet — the handcraft technique of creating fabric and shapes by interlocking loops of yarn with a hooked needle. In Pakistan, crochet has been a beloved tradition passed down through generations of women.
We chose this name to honor that heritage and our late mother, who taught this beautiful art to our family. Every Teddy Bow bouquet carries this legacy of handmade Pakistani craftsmanship forward.
What yarn and materials does Teddy Bow use?
Teddy Bow uses premium-quality cotton yarn for all crochet flowers, chosen for its durability, vibrant color retention, smooth texture, and skin-safe properties. The stems contain flexible iron wire wrapped in yarn, allowing you to bend and arrange flowers at any angle you desire.
For the final presentation, we use high-quality wrapping paper, satin ribbons, and decorative elements. All materials are non-toxic and safe for children and pets.

How much does a crochet bouquet cost in Pakistan?
Teddy Bow crochet bouquet prices start from around PKR 1,500 for a single flower arrangement and go up to PKR 15,000+ for large, elaborate custom bouquets.
Pricing depends on the number of flowers, complexity of the design, flower types chosen (roses, sunflowers, tulips, lilies, etc.), and any custom add-ons like premium gift wrapping or personalized messages. Contact us on WhatsApp or Instagram for an exact quote on your desired arrangement.
Why are crochet bouquets more expensive than fresh flowers?
Crochet bouquets involve significantly more labor than fresh flower arrangements. A single crochet flower can take 1-2 hours to hand-stitch, and a full bouquet with 8-10 flowers may require 15-20+ hours of skilled handwork. You’re paying for artisan craftsmanship, premium materials, and a product that lasts forever — not just a few days.
When you consider cost-per-year of enjoyment, crochet bouquets are actually far more economical than repeatedly buying fresh flowers that wilt within a week.
How long does it take to make a crochet bouquet?
Every Teddy Bow bouquet is handmade from scratch. Production time depends on size and complexity:
Small bouquet (3-5 flowers): 2-3 days. Medium bouquet (6-9 flowers): 3-5 days. Large custom bouquet (10+ flowers): 5-7 days.
We recommend placing orders at least one week in advance, especially during peak seasons like Eid, Valentine’s Day, and wedding season (November-February). Rush orders may be accommodated depending on our schedule — contact us to discuss.
What payment methods does Teddy Bow accept?
Teddy Bow accepts multiple convenient payment methods for Pakistani customers: Bank transfer (all major banks), JazzCash, EasyPaisa, and cash on delivery (available for select areas). For international orders, we can arrange payment through bank wire transfer.
Full payment or a 50% advance is required before production begins on custom orders, since each bouquet is made specifically for you.
Can I return or exchange a crochet bouquet?
Since every Teddy Bow bouquet is handmade to order and customized to your specifications, we do not offer standard returns. However, if your bouquet arrives damaged during shipping, we will replace it free of charge — just send us photos within 24 hours of delivery.
If you’re unhappy with any aspect of your bouquet, please contact us and we’ll work to make it right. Customer satisfaction is our top priority, and we stand behind the quality of our handwork.

Our packaging is designed so that the recipient can unwrap a beautiful gift — not just receive a shipping box. If you have specific packaging requests for a special occasion, let us know and we’ll accommodate them.
Can I send a crochet bouquet as a surprise gift?
Absolutely! Many of our customers order crochet bouquets as surprise gifts. Simply provide us with the recipient’s name, delivery address, and phone number when placing your order. We can include a personalized handwritten message card at no extra charge.
We will not include any pricing information in the package, and we’ll coordinate with you on the delivery timing to make sure the surprise goes perfectly.
Care & Maintenance
How do I take care of my crochet bouquet?
Caring for your Teddy Bow crochet bouquet is simple:
Sunlight: Keep it away from prolonged direct sunlight to prevent gradual color fading. Dusting: Gently dust with a soft brush or cloth every few weeks. Storage: If not on display, store in a cool, dry place. Cleaning: Spot-clean with mild soap and lukewarm water if needed, then air dry completely.
Never machine wash, wring, twist, or iron your crochet bouquet. With this basic care, your bouquet will stay beautiful for years.
Can crochet flowers be washed?
Crochet flowers can be spot-cleaned but should not be machine washed or fully submerged in water. If your bouquet gets dusty, gently brush it with a soft dry cloth or use a handheld vacuum on the lowest setting held a few inches away.
For stains, dab the affected area with a cloth dampened in mild soapy water, then blot dry and let it air dry completely in shade. Never wring, twist, or iron crochet flowers as this can damage the stitching and distort petal shapes.
Will the colors fade over time?
The premium cotton yarn we use at Teddy Bow has excellent color retention, so your bouquet will maintain its vibrancy for years under normal indoor conditions. However, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause gradual fading over time — just as it would with any fabric.
To keep your bouquet looking its best, simply display it away from windows that receive harsh direct sunlight for extended hours. Indoor ambient light is perfectly fine and will not affect the colors.
Customization
Can I customize my crochet bouquet?
Absolutely! Customization is one of Teddy Bow’s biggest strengths. You can choose:
Flower types: Roses, sunflowers, tulips, daisies, lilies, peonies, carnations, lavender, and more. Colors: Any color combination — match a wedding theme, a favourite color, or even request colors that don’t exist in real flowers. Size: From single-stem to large elaborate arrangements. Add-ons: Personalized gift messages, premium wrapping, ribbon colors, and decorative elements.
Share your vision with us and we’ll bring it to life in yarn.
Can I request flowers in colors that don’t exist in nature?
Yes! This is one of the most exciting things about crochet flowers. Want a blue rose? A black sunflower? A rainbow tulip? Teal peonies? We can make it. Since we work with yarn, we’re not limited by what nature provides.
Many customers request custom color palettes to match wedding themes (like burgundy and dusty rose), brand colors for corporate gifts, or simply their recipient’s favourite color — no matter how unusual.
Can I order a crochet bouquet for a wedding?
Yes! Teddy Bow specializes in wedding crochet bouquets for Pakistani weddings including bridal bouquets, bridesmaid flowers, Mehendi decorations, car decorations, and table centerpieces. Wedding bouquets can be customized to match your outfit and color theme perfectly.
The biggest advantage: your bridal bouquet becomes a permanent memory. You can display it in your home forever after the wedding, unlike fresh flowers that wilt within hours of the ceremony. For weddings, we recommend ordering at least 2-3 weeks in advance.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Yes — all Teddy Bow crochet bouquets come beautifully wrapped and gift-ready. Our standard wrapping includes premium wrapping paper, satin ribbon, and decorative finishing touches. You can also add a personalized handwritten message card at no extra charge.
For special occasions like weddings, Eid, or corporate events, we offer premium gift packaging with upgraded materials and presentation. Just let us know your preference when placing your order.
Gifting & Occasions
What occasions are crochet bouquets good for?
Crochet bouquets are perfect for virtually every occasion: Eid gifts, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, birthdays, wedding decorations, bridal bouquets, nikah ceremonies, graduation celebrations, anniversary gifts, housewarming presents, Mehendi functions, and home décor.
They also make excellent hospital visit gifts (since they’re allergy-free and don’t require water), corporate gifts, and teacher appreciation presents. Because they last forever, they become meaningful keepsakes rather than disposable gifts.
Are crochet bouquets a good gift for Mother’s Day or Eid?
They’re one of the best gifts for both occasions. On Mother’s Day, a handmade crochet bouquet says “I put thought and care into this gift” — much more powerfully than mass-produced flowers that die in days. On Eid, crochet bouquets make elegant, meaningful Eidi gifts that family members can display in their homes permanently.
Many customers order Teddy Bow bouquets for their mothers, mothers-in-law, sisters, and grandmothers during these occasions. We recommend ordering at least one week early during these peak seasons.
Can I send a crochet bouquet to someone in the hospital?
Yes! Crochet bouquets are actually one of the best options for hospital gifts. Many hospitals restrict or discourage fresh flowers because of pollen, allergies, and hygiene concerns. Crochet bouquets have none of these issues — they are hypoallergenic, produce no pollen, don’t need water (which can spill), and don’t attract insects.
Your loved one can enjoy their crochet bouquet during their hospital stay and then take it home as a lasting reminder of your care.
Do crochet bouquets make good home décor?
Absolutely! Many customers buy Teddy Bow crochet bouquets specifically for home décor. They look beautiful on dining tables, living room side tables, bedroom dressers, office desks, bookshelves, entryway consoles, and kitchen counters.
Unlike fresh flower arrangements that need replacing every week, a crochet bouquet is a one-time investment that brightens your space permanently. You can even rotate different crochet bouquets seasonally or match them to your room’s color palette.
